Extreme sports

Adventure racing combines the following:
trail-running
mountain biking
kayaking/canoeing with special challenges meant to test agility, strength and ability to work as a team.

The Challenge Races are typically one day, two day or night races. Teams, comprised of three members, are expected to be proficient in climbing and orienteering.

Training classes

Training classes for adventure sports are usually limited to ten people to provide hands on, one-on-one training. All participants receive personal attention to ensure they leave the training camp with an ability to work as a team and the skills necessary to aggressively compete in adventure racing and life.

The training classes include:

 * Mountain bike training and techniques, including field repairs and upgrades.
 * Land Navigation and Orienteering
 * Endurance Nutrition
 * Team Development and Leadership, overcoming the obstacles necessary to reach your goal.
 * Canoe Techniques and Skills, working as a team.
 * Kayak Techniques and Skills, for when you are on your own.
 * Rope 101, ropes, knots, devices and rigging.
 * Rope 102, climbing, rappelling and traversing techniques.
